Please arrive at least ten minutes prior to your appointment start time in order to receive the full allotted session. You may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours in advance. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of scheduled service price.

North Port Yoga + Wellness teachers aim to help others achieve their health goals and find new freedom through the ancient practices of yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Traditional yoga is composed of eight limbs and can be practiced on or “off the mat.” Yoga may include breathwork (pranayama), physical postures (asana), meditation, mindfulness practices, etc.

Amy Osborne, M.A. Yoga Studies

Amy Osborne is a 2016 graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s (LMU) Master of Arts in Yoga Studies program. Amy studied under and served as Graduate Assistant for Dr. Christopher Key Chapple, including a summer semester study in Dharma Traditions in India.

In addition to attaining her M.A. which encompasses a 500-RYT training, Amy has completed specialized instruction as follows: Yoga, Mindfulness and Social Change 100-hour certificate from LMU, Prison Yoga Project, Uprising Yoga, and Street Yoga trauma-informed teacher trainings, Accessible Bodies training with Canadian-based instructor Dianne Bondy, and Off the Mat Into the World’s Advanced Leadership training in global social development. She has developed ongoing programs and taught regular asana and meditation classes at a women’s jail in Lynwood, CA, and at the Irma Colen Center of Venice Family Clinic in Culver City, CA.

Sonya Merriman, RYT

With a life that started in gymnastics, fitness has always been apart of Sonya's life. Being a busy mom of three she uses fitness as a family bonding time. Sonya received her personal training certification a year before working as a physical therapist technician full time, where her love for prehab and rehab blossomed. Sonya has always had a love for yoga and with the universe’s alignment, she attended a 200hr yoga teacher training at North Port Yoga + Wellness. This skyrocketed her passion for not only fitness but for the wellness of mind, body and soul.

Pallavi Lowery, OTD, CLT, CYT, CHC

Yoga Acharya, Certified Health Coach

Pallavi Lowery graduated from the Seth G.S. Medical College and School of Occupational Therapy in Mumbai, India in 1993. After coming to the USA, Pallavi pursued her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University, Provo, Utah in 2010. Pallavi is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Yoga Acharya. Pallavi is passionate about Health and Wellbeing and enjoys sharing evidence based knowledge, and scientific tools on the topics related to Health and Wellbeing; bringing awareness, balance, and helping people achieve their highest potential in their life.

Private Session Packages

Pre/Post-Natal Practice - $280
For any mom-to-be or new mama, provide the gift of self-care, as well as physical preparation and breathwork support for the natural process the body has/will endure. Learn important modifications to practice safely at home or in group classes during/following pregnancy. Sessions may be used before or after birth, or in combination. * Includes four one-hour private sessions with focus on flexibility, strengthening and breathwork, intro to aromatherapy and discounts on safe products for home and baby*

Injury or Pain Relief - $240
For yourself or another who may struggle with chronic pain or residual pain from injury. Sessions are customized to increase strength, flexibility, and mobility, including modifications for group classes and techniques for easy at-home practice. * Includes four one-hour sessions with individualized care including an introduction to physical yoga postures, vinyasa sequencing (movement with breath), modifications with props and breathwork techniques to benefit targeted and overall health and well-being.

Mindful Meditation - $240
For yourself or another who may be interested in beginning or advancing their mindfulness and meditation practice. Begin to fully realize the benefits of yoga on the mind through individualized sessions to create a mindfulness plan (or sadhana) that fits your daily schedule and individual needs. Learn various "tools" or mindfulness techniques to mitigate stress and anxiety, confront unhealthy habits, or improve sleep, focus and energy. * Includes four sessions with individualized care including an introduction to mindfulness and meditation practices, and breathwork (pranayama) for mental clarity and focus.

Wedding Unwind - $260
For any bride or groom-to-be, provide the gift of self-care during a particularly stressful and demanding (however exciting) time. Recipient can determine whether to use sessions before or after the big day - or both! * Includes four one-hour sessions with individualized care to advance one's practice, blow off some steam and/or provide a restorative environment to release and re-energize.

Kid's Time-In - $225
For the child in your life who may benefit from cultivating mindfulness and meditation practices to foster focus, patience, temperment or stress management. Preferred age 5 and up. * Includes four 45-minute sessions with individualized care to introduce physical yoga postures, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation practices, as well as promoting a different perspective instilling confidence and self-compassion.
